Holiday Events at the Center

What a great time to get out and enjoy the Holidays at Heaven Hill Distilleries Bourbon Heritage Center here in Bardstown. There is no other time that brings the taste and pageantry of Bourbon together than Christmas in Kentucky.

 

And to prove the point, we have put together a schedule of Holiday events throughout November and December starting off with our annual tree trimming event starting in mid-November.

 

Come by and take a look at Bardstown’s largest indoor Christmas tree conveniently situated in the lobby of the Bourbon Heritage Center. Hours of preparation, inspiration and perspiration goes into the look and feel of the decorations adorning this giant tree display. This year giant wicker acorns and the rich color of maroon are festooned up and down our 20 foot tree.

 

The tree and our Holiday decorations are on display during regular hours here at the center. Come by—check it out and pick up that special gift here in our Bourbon Heritage gift shop from 10 am to 5 pm daily. We are open at noon on Sunday’s throughout the season but closed on Monday’s.

 

If you are looking for some recipes for the Holiday season, come by for our annual Food Fair on November 22. Join a number of food vendors as they prep a number of Holiday specials all related to Bourbon. Pick up samples of their best efforts and get the recipes from these food specialists during this day long event. Chef Matt Jamie of Bourbon Barrel Foods will prepare some of his best dishes for this day long event. His talent is incorporating the products made by Bourbon Barrel Foods into fantastic and fun dishes.

 

Our open house is scheduled for November 28 & 29. Enjoy the decorations while sipping on spiced cider. We are making a special emphasis on our gift baskets this year. And we will custom design a Bourbon basket for your Christmas gift. Or pick up one of our many “all-ready packaged” baskets at the gift shop.

 

The Heaven Hill Distilleries Trolley gets in the swing of the season with a Christmas decorations tour in downtown Bardstown. Hop on board and join us as we seek out the best decorated homes and businesses. Ticket price is $7 and tours leave at 6 p.m. from the Bourbon Heritage Center.

 

Our designers will be on hand for our brand-new Basket Bazaar scheduled for December 11 & 12. Spread some Holiday Cheer with a unique gift basket artfully designed and packaged by our own design team. From a Bourbon connoisseur themed-basket to an all-cooking with Bourbon basket, we can put together a themed-gift for that special someone.

 

 

 

On December 13, Chef Matt Jamie of Bourbon Barrel Foods will prepare some of his best dishes for Cooking With Bourbon. His talent is incorporating Bourbon and the products made by Bourbon Barrel Foods into fantastic and fun dishes. This day long event will demonstrate how cooking with Bourbon can make any Holiday party a hit.

 

And here’s our latest idea, a gift wrapping service just for you. We don’t even care if you buy those gifts here. Our team of “Wrapping” specialists will wrap your gifts from anywhere for a minimum donation of fifty cents per item. All proceeds are going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. It’s our way of giving something back to the community in the true meaning of the Christmas season.
